This Labor Day weekend I decided to explore the metropolis with the hometown vibe that is Portland, OR. To my excitement after booking my flight, one of my favorite bloggers Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere, announced she was going to be there the same weekend. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to cross paths with her, but with the recommendations from her loving fans, I was able to create an amazing itinerary for my 72 hour trip. I actually enjoyed myself more in the regional parks than in the city because of the captivating vegetation and their relief from the 99 degree heat. The eco-friendly and wholesome character Portland possesses is truly inspiring. Oregon definitely offers the best of both worlds.
